Some pieces make an impression with one big statement. The Blue Note takes the opposite approach — its character comes from the details.

Built on a soft blue textured base, the shirt is covered with small red-and-white motifs, creating a rhythm that runs naturally across the piece. At first glance, the pattern feels subtle; look closer and the detailing begins to stand out.

The construction gives it another layer of character. A double collar, finished with precise white thread detailing, gives the neckline a distinctive structured look. The front placket is outlined with contrasting white stitching, drawing attention to the row of red buttons and creating a clean visual break against the blue.

The cuffs are where the design becomes even more distinctive. Instead of a conventional cuff, The Blue Note features a specially constructed cuff with an angled, overlapping finish, detailed with white thread and two red buttons on each side. The same small motifs continue onto the cuffs, tying the details back into the body of the shirt.

Everything is intentional — the colour, the embroidery, the contrast stitching and the construction — without making the shirt feel overworked.
